Lopimune 50 Mg/200 Mg Tablet works by inhibiting the growth of viral particles and preventing the virus from multiplying inside the body.

How Lopimune Tablet works
Lopimune 50mg/200mg Tablet is a combination of two anti-HIV medicines: Ritonavir and Lopinavir.
Lopimune work by interfering with an enzyme (protease), which is required by HIV-infected cells to make new viruses. This stops the production of new viruses.
In addition to its intended Side effect of Lopimune 50 Mg/200 Mg Tablet may cause some unwanted effects too. In such cases, you must seek medical attention immediately. This is not an exhaustive list of side effects. Please inform your doctor if you experience any adverse reaction to the medication.
Increased cholesterol level in blood
Increased triglyceride level in blood.
Lopimune Tablet – Precautions
Before using Lopimune Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.).
Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
Consult a doctor if you have haemophilia or pancreatitis
Have high cholesterol or triglyceride levels, hemophilia or another bleeding disorder
History of kidney problems, liver problems, pancreas problems, diabetes, low potassium or magnesium blood levels, heart problems, heart blood vessel problems, or irregular heartbeat
Monitor glucose, lipid and uric acid regularly
Pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding
Missed dose of Lopimune
If you miss a dose of Lopimune tablets Lopinavir 200mg + Ritonavir 50mg take it as soon as you remember, unless it is time to take the next dose, then skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose.
How should Lopimune be stored?
You should store your Lopimune tablets Lopinavir 200mg + Ritonavir 50mg below 30°C in a cool dry place.

WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Lopimune 50mg/200mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lopimune 50mg/200mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
It is not known whether Lopimune 50mg/200mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Lopimune 50mg/200mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Lopimune 50mg/200mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
