The medication is also beneficial for the treatment of meningitis, the infection of the membranes that cover the brain and the spine, which is caused due to fungus.
It is also used for preventing yeast infection in people who have a possibility of having a fungal infection when undergoing chemotherapy or a radiation therapy before bone marrow transplantation as the immune system is likely to be weakened at this time.

How to use Zocon Eye Drop
Zocon 0.3% Eye Drops is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it.
How use Zocon 0.3% Eye Drops – Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

Missed Dose instructions
The missed dose can be taken as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dosage then the missed dose can be skipped.
Inform your doctor immediately if you are experiencing symptoms of overdose.
Warnings for special population
Zocon 0.3% Eye Drop is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless absolutely necessary. Discuss all the risks and benefits with your doctor before using this medicine.
Zocon 0.3% Eye Drop is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine. If you use the medicine, you are advised to monitor the baby closely for any adverse effects.
Liver Injury –
Zocon 0.3% Eye Drop can cause moderate to severe side effects on liver and may result in liver failure in rare cases. Any known incidence of liver disease should be reported to the doctor. Dosage adjustments and safety monitoring might be required in such cases.
