How to use Zonat Eye Drop
Zonat Eye Drops is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it.
How work Zonat Eye Drops – Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

Zonat Eye Drop is an antifungal medicine. Zonat Eye Drops work as – kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane.
Expert advice for Zonat Eye Drop
Do not touch the tip of the dropper, as it may contaminate the solution.
Do not stop using natamycin even if you feel well. To clear up your infection completely,
use natamycin for the full course of treatment.Consult your doctor if symptoms do not get better within 7 to 10 days or they get worse.
Do not wear contact lenses if have signs of conjunctivitis or keratitis.
Zonat Eye Drops is not recommended for use in children.

Failure of contraceptive diaphragm with vaginal pessaries
FOR TOPICAL OPHTHALMIC USE ONLY – NOT FOR INJECTION. –
Failure of improvement of keratitis following 7-10 days of administration of the drug suggests that the infection may be caused by a microorganism not susceptible to Zonat Eye Drops.
Continuation of therapy should be based on clinical re-evaluation and additional laboratory studies.
Adherence of the suspension to areas of epithelial ulceration or retention of the suspension in the fornices occurs regularly.

Carcinogenesis, Mutagenesis, Impairment of Fertility:
There have been no long term studies done using Zonat Eye Drops in animals to evaluate carcinogenesis, mutagenesis, or impairment of fertility.
Pregnancy Category C. Animal reproduction studies have not been conducted with Zonat Eye Drops. It is also not known whether natamycin can cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman or can affect reproduction capacity. Zonat Eye Drops should be given to a pregnant woman only if clearly needed.
Zonat Eye Drops is not known whether these drugs are excreted in human milk. Because many drugs are excreted in human milk, caution should be exercised when Zonat Eye Drops is administered to a nursing woman.
Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established.
No overall differences in safety or effectiveness have been observed between elderly and younger patients.
