What is Triomune?
Triomune 30 tab is a combination therapy for people with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection. It contains three different antiretroviral agents – Stavudine (40mg), Lamivudine (150mg) and Nevirapine (200mg).
How is Triomune used?
Triomune comes in a packet of 30 tablets. Each tablet contains 40mg of stavudine, 150mg of lamivudine and 200mg of nevirapine. This equates to have the commonly prescribed daily dosage of each treatment. It is recommended to take one tablet twice daily with a glass of water for as long as prewcribed by your doctor.

In case of any discomfort, immediately call the doctor and inform him about the possible side effects of over dosage. If the situation worsens then visit the nearest healthcare center or call the emergency helpline number.
In case of miss dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose on the recommended time period. Do not double up the dose for the missed one.
Side effects of the drug:
Tell your doctor if you feel any of the following side effects while taking this drug, even if you have had them before:
- Symptoms of lactic acidosis like muscle pain/weakness
- Joint pain
- Increased blood sugar levels
- Increase in bleeding ( in people with Haemophillia)
- Fat gain or loss
- Unexplained weight loss
- Vision changes, etc.
Do not take Triomune 30 Online if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any of the active ingredients (stavudine / lamivudine / nevirapine).
Triomune must not be taken if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.
Do not take Triomune if you have kidney or liver disease.
Triomune should only be taken if you have received previous treatment for HIV and specifically treatment with nevirapine.
